About the Role
Support the Finance Operations team in delivering comprehensive finance administration services, ensuring accurate and timely payments to customers and suppliers, and correct allocation of incoming funds. Requires strong collaboration and effective communication across the finance function and wider business.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Process payments via Swift, BACS & Faster Payments
- Daily matching and allocation of funds received
- Enter journals into the General Ledger
- Respond to internal and external finance queries
- Provide administrative support to the finance team
- Support Internal and External Auditors
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance operations, including exposure to cash management and bank reconciliations
- Previous accounts experience (e.g. accounts payable, receivable, or general ledger) is advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage and analyse data effectively
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
