About the Role
The Orthopaedics VELYS Team is seeking a Capital Sales Account Manager to drive sales of innovative VELYS™ solutions for robotically assisted orthopedics and manage complex sales processes through to contract conclusion. This role involves building strategic customer relationships and fostering sustainable growth in the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the sales of VELYS Capital Equipment solutions in the field of robotically assisted orthopedics
- Building and developing long-term customer relationships with clinic management, chief physicians, and purchasing committees
- Independent management of complex sales processes from strategic positioning to contract conclusion
- Conducting product presentations, business reviews, and ROI-oriented sales discussions at C-level
- Developing regional market strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Close collaboration with Clinical Teams, Marketing, Service, and international stakeholders
- Identification of new business opportunities and building a sustainable opportunity pipeline
- Participation in congresses, workshops, and customer events
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Capital Equipment Sales, ideally in endoprosthetics or medical technology
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Engineering, Medical Technology, or comparable qualification
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident use of common Microsoft Office applications
- High willingness to travel with regular overnight stays domestically and occasional international travel
- Operating room experience or experience in operating room support is an advantage
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills at top management level
- Proven success in strategic sales of complex capital goods
- Strong ability to build trusting relationships at all decision-making levels
- Entrepreneurial thinking as well as high self-motivation and closing strength
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Analytical strength combined with strategic market understanding
