About the Role
CFA Institute is seeking a Director, Learning Content to shape skills-based investment education at a global scale. This individual contributor role focuses on developing learning content that reflects real-world investment practices across various educational products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, review, and maintenance of high-quality, learner-centric content.
- Translate complex, real-world investment practice into clear learning content, study tools, and assessment-supporting materials.
- Collaborate with learning design, assessment/exam teams, product management, marketing, and subject matter experts.
- Work with external authors, reviewers, practitioners, and consultants, setting standards and providing feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum alignment with learning outcomes, practice analysis, and market-relevant professional standards.
- Support content across different portfolio areas, including sustainability, private markets, and the CFA Program.
- Ensure content is accurate, rigorous, accessible for a global audience, and delivered on time.
Requirements
- Credible experience in investment management, financial services, finance education, or a related field.
- Experience developing, contributing to, or reviewing professional, university-level, client-facing, or internal learning/training/content materials.
- Clear motivation to work in learning content and education, with an interest in adult learning and translating investment practice into effective learning experiences.
- Track record of producing accurate, high-quality, and market-relevant content, comfortable with review cycles and iterative improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively.
- Proven ability to operate independently in a global, cross-functional environment, balancing multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- CFA charterholder strongly preferred; candidates without the charter will be considered with equivalent industry credibility and learning content experience.

Salary/Compensations
- US - Metro Locations (NY): $155,000 - $195,000 per year
- US - National Locations (VA, NC, GA, FL): $125,000 - $165,000 per year
- UK - London: £90,000 - £110,000 per year
