About the Role

You will manage the existing transport network, oversee new site deployments, and ensure the stability and optimization of network elements within a professional IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the existing transport network including MPLS-Core aggregation and distribution layers.
• Coordinate business customer connections and commission new network sites and elements.
• Plan and implement projects based on technical requirements.
• Test new equipment and designs in a laboratory environment.
• Provide 3rd level support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Perform maintenance work outside of standard business hours.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Collaborate with external service providers, manufacturers, ISPs, and internal departments.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in enterprise or service provider environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently and within a team.
• Certification or equivalent knowledge at CCNP/HCNP level.
• High sense of responsibility, quality awareness, and effective prioritization skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within a team.
• Fluent German (C2) and good English language skills.
