About the Role

The Vice President, Global Consumer Financials is a senior player–coach role accountable for driving commercial growth while shaping the end‑to‑end product strategy for the Consumer Financial Services portfolio globally. This role combines hands‑on quota-carrying sales leadership with product ownership responsibilities, ensuring solutions are market-relevant, differentiated, and commercially scalable. The VP will personally lead strategic sales motions with priority clients while coaching teams, influencing roadmap decisions, and translating client needs into monetizable product innovation. This is a high-impact commercial leadership role for an executive who thrives equally in client rooms and internal strategy discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and carry a global revenue target/quota for the Consumer Financial Services portfolio
  • Personally lead high-value, complex sales opportunities, including C‑suite and executive-level engagements, first‑time service adoption, large, multi-solution or multi-market deals, and RFPs and cross-portfolio proposals
  • Actively prospect, shape demand, and convert opportunities through hands-on selling, not delegation
  • Serve as the primary commercial closer on the most strategic accounts
  • Coach and elevate sales and practice teams through live deal participation, joint-selling, and objection handling and value articulation modeling
  • Build, manage, and rigorously inspect an active pipeline to ensure attainment against operating plan
  • Act as the commercial and market-facing product owner for Consumer Financial Services solutions
  • Translate client business challenges into clear product requirements, scalable solution designs, and commercial packaging and pricing strategies
  • Influence and prioritize the product roadmap by feeding real-time client, competitor, and market insights into product teams and pressure-testing product-market fit through live selling
  • Partner closely with product, analytics, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are differentiated, outcome-driven, and saleable, and product enhancements directly support revenue growth and retention
  • Own go-to-market strategy for new and evolving offerings, including positioning, use cases, and value stories
  • Develop and activate holistic, annual client strategies for priority global financial services clients
  • Drive enterprise wallet growth through multi-solution penetration, cross-specialty and cross-business collaboration, and long-term value creation aligned to client KPIs
  • Lead and own top-to-top client engagement, with the goal of portfolio-wide expansion
  • Represent the full portfolio in a solution-agnostic, client-first manner
  • Personally deliver external and internal thought leadership
  • Serve as a visible industry leader in Consumer Financial Services, representing insights, trends, and innovation
  • Maintain deep expertise in consumer behavior, financial services trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Continuously sharpen product and technical knowledge through ongoing learning and market exposure

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of direct, quota-carrying sales experience, including closing complex enterprise deals
  • 7–10+ years of experience selling analytics, insights, or data-driven solutions into Financial Services
  • Demonstrated success as a player–coach, balancing personal production with team leadership
  • Proven ability to sell to and influence C‑suite and senior executives
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect client needs to product and commercial outcomes
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence
