About the Role

This hybrid role combines data analysis and data science to support projects in credit acceptance, personalization, transaction categorization, and pricing. You will optimize product funnels, develop complex reports, design A/B tests, and build full modeling pipelines using tree-based approaches within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Extract business insights from data
  • Develop full data science pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, marketers, and data scientists
  • Perform credit acceptance modeling and funnel analysis
  • Develop complex reporting tools for credit risk and collections funnels
  • Monitor data quality and integrity
  • Develop propensity to buy models
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments
  • Analyze test results using statistical methods to provide data-driven recommendations
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong background in statistics
  • Experience building classifiers based on boosting algorithms
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial sector
  • Domain knowledge in credit risk, collections, pricing, or marketing intelligence
  • Fluent in Python, Pyspark, and SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
