About the Role

This hybrid role involves projects related to credit acceptance, personalization, transaction categorization, and pricing. You will function primarily as an analyst, optimizing product funnels, developing reports, analyzing A/B tests, and generating business insights. Additionally, you will contribute as a data scientist by developing full modeling pipelines using tree-based approaches. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and take ownership of tasks within a team of highly skilled and motivated colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize product funnels
  • Develop complex reports
  • Design and analyze A/B testing
  • Generate business insights
  • Develop full modeling pipeline using tree-based approaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketers and data scientists
  • Develop propensity to buy models
  • Design, implement and analyze A/B tests (and other experiment designs)
  • Analyze test results using statistical methods to derive actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

  • Strong background in statistics (e.g., Master's in Econometrics)
  • Experience building classifiers based on boosting algorithms
  • At least 4 years of experience in the financial sector
  • Domain knowledge in either credit risk, collections, pricing or marketing intelligence
  • Fluent coding in Python, Pyspark and SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Stay curious, keep learning and take on responsibility
