About the Role
The Generative AI Engineering team builds enterprise-grade AI platforms and developer-facing capabilities. This role involves designing, building, and operating secure, reliable, and observable AI systems, including LLM integration, model governance, and developer tooling to support engineering productivity at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and improve enterprise Generative AI platform capabilities for engineering use cases
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations for secure LLM usage
- Work with AI gateway technologies for model routing, policy enforcement, observability, and cost control
- Integrate GenAI systems with enterprise identity and access management platforms
- Build integrations with internal engineering systems, developer tools, and MCP servers or clients
- Contribute to architecture and implementation decisions regarding MCP and enterprise authorization patterns
- Develop production-grade services using Python, TypeScript, or similar languages
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cloud resources, and Kubernetes workloads
- Evaluate GenAI frameworks and model providers while communicating trade-offs to stakeholders
- Create documentation for platform behavior, security assumptions, and operational procedures
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems
- Hands-on experience building backend services, APIs, or developer tools using Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go
- Experience deploying and operating production systems using cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise authentication and authorization systems like Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, or SAML
- Experience building systems using LLM APIs or model providers such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or Bedrock
- Understanding of production concerns for GenAI including access control, model routing, observability, and cost management
- Strong engineering fundamentals in system design, testing, debugging, and code review
- Ability to work across teams and translate ambiguous requirements into engineering plans
- Must be able to work onsite at least 3 days per week
