About the Role

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will own products and features end-to-end, acting as the bridge between technical implementation, product design, and user experience. You will work directly on Ojin, building everything from high-end interactive frontends to complex backend agentic systems, defining solutions, designing architecture, and shipping to users.

Responsibilities

• Drive features and projects from abstract concepts to production deployment, taking ownership across UI/UX design, product logic, and technical implementation.
• Architect and build core web infrastructure using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, ensuring user-facing applications are responsive, intuitive, and robust.
• Develop and maintain Python backends for AI capabilities, including proxy services, agentic systems, and conversational AI flows.
• Design scalable backend systems, considering trade-offs around performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with founders, designers, and other engineers, acting as a key voice in shaping the product roadmap and technical strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Startup experience is a must.
• Strong hands-on skills in Frontend (React, TypeScript) and Backend (Node.js, TypeScript).
• Proficiency in Python and experience or strong ambition to build backend systems for AI agents and conversational interfaces.
• Enthusiasm for UI/UX, product design, and making customer-centric trade-offs.
• Rigor to design complex systems that scale.
• Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.
