About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Graphic Designer to prepare design, art, and copy layouts for various visual communications media. This role involves performing difficult and complex graphic design assignments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares complex art and copy layouts, applying established standards and formats.
• Works with Technical Writers/Editors and authors/requestors to review submitted materials.
• Recommends improvements for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with Company style.
• Designs and produces reproduction-ready visual graphics, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, plots, diagrams, tables, sketches, isometrics, viewgraphs, posters, signs, and certificates.
• Modifies existing artwork as required.
• Serves as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
• Provides reproduction data such as reduction sizing, quantity, and paper/ink selection.
• Assists in training new employees and may review work produced by lower-level Graphic Designers.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of related work experience.
• UAE work experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in graphic design technology and software.
• Demonstrated advanced graphic design skills.
• Thorough knowledge of graphics production techniques and reproduction/printing processes.
• Aptitude for completing detailed, varied, and simultaneous graphic design assignments.
• Demonstrated commitment to meet schedule requirements.
