About the Role

The SEO Account Manager will work closely with the SEO Director to deliver effective SEO campaigns, manage execution, and develop expertise. This role involves understanding digital experience impact, employing a test-and-learn approach, and contributing to process improvements. The position offers significant growth opportunities and exposure to business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of high-performing SEO content strategies.
  • Conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitor reviews.
  • Partner with internal teams to create engaging, search-optimized content.
  • Deliver data-driven technical and content recommendations.
  • Conduct site audits and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Improve site architecture, metadata, and internal linking.
  • Support best practice SEO implementation.
  • Conduct off-site SEO audits and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Support backlink analysis and digital PR opportunities.
  • Leverage data, analytics platforms, and SEO tools to identify opportunities.
  • Uncover performance trends and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights through reporting and performance reviews.
  • Build strong client relationships and understand their business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, communicate recommendations, and manage expectations.
  • Support the growth of a holistic search offering by collaborating across SEO and Paid Search teams.
  • Identify opportunities for organic and paid strategy integration.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends and digital marketing best practices.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to help clients remain competitive.

Requirements

  • Experience in an SEO role, ideally agency side.
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programmes, especially PPT and Excel.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment with high-value clients.
  • An excellent communicator.
  • Confident, comfortable, and professional when communicating with clients and third parties.
  • A solid understanding of how to measure the impact of SEO-based strategies through analytics platforms and other external metrics.
  • A good understanding of how websites and search engines work.
  • Able to demonstrate an intermediate understanding of how web languages like HTML work.
  • Strong knowledge of how to identify organic search opportunity, set business-relevant KPIs & project organic search performance.
