About the Role
The Assistant Delivery Manager oversees industrial development projects across multiple investment funds, collaborating with internal teams, Joint Venture partners, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage industrial projects valued at over $50m as a developer or Joint Venture partner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, tenants, and agents.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.
- Administer development delivery according to tenant and contractor agreements.
- Manage and report project costs in accordance with delegations of authority.
- Ensure high-quality design outcomes aligned with company briefs and tenant requirements.
- Identify and manage construction risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor contractor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage construction tenders and prepare internal board reports.
- Attend and contribute to design, project coordination, and control group meetings.
- Provide technical advice on infrastructure, building design, and construction issues.
- Assist in updating company delivery processes and briefs.
- Maintain a positive WH&S culture and conduct site safety audits.
- Report on WH&S metrics and manage incident reporting and resolution.
- Communicate lessons learned from project outcomes.
