About the Role

The LASE (Land Access & Stakeholder Engagement) Coordinator supports telecommunications infrastructure delivery by ensuring compliant land access and effective stakeholder engagement. The coordinator assesses land access requirements, leads coordination and application of approvals, permits, and exemptions to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. The role also coordinates engagement with various stakeholders, identifies premises and ownership, and facilitates access through statutory notices.

Responsibilities

  • Assess project scopes to determine land access requirements across public and private property
  • Engage with landowners, tenants, Body Corporates, Owners Corporations, building managers and property stakeholders to enable site access
  • Identify and validate premises ownership and occupancy, including undertaking title searches
  • Prepare and issue Schedule 3 Land Access notices in line with legislative requirements
  • Conduct due diligence assessment to identify any potential impacts to land and property, including areas of heritage and environmental significance, ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements
  • Liaise with councils, road authorities and government for permits, approvals and notifications where required
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities to promote awareness and facilitate network build and upgrades
  • Manage objections, enquiries, complaints and escalations in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records, registers and evidence of compliance in internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal design, delivery and construction teams to mitigate risks and delays
  • Ensure all activities comply with telecommunications legislation, planning requirements and client obligations
  • Prepare for and present in internal and client meetings as required
  • Support the wider LASE team as per business requirements

Requirements

  • Courteous stakeholder communications skills
  • Have/acquire knowledge of business software, database/project management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Project/Construction/Environmental background experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and responsibly self-assign
  • Excellent liaison, communication and writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able and willing to learn and develop in the role
  • Work as an effective and supportive team player

Skills

  • Telecommunications/Construction Access Compliance Procedures/Planning procedures is highly desirable
