About the Role
We are looking for a Spatial Technical Lead to join our high performing team. You will be providing technical leadership across GIS delivery, driving innovative geospatial solutions, best-practice system design, and high-quality outcomes for clients and the business.
Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering end-to-end geospatial solutions across Esri platforms, web applications, and integrated systems, while actively contributing to development, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation of client environments.
- Championing best practices in system architecture, including ArcGIS platform implementations, VertiGIS Studio solutions, and custom application development.
- Embedded within project teams to provide technical leadership, resolve complex challenges, conduct configuration and code reviews, and ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Contributing to pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, proof of concept development, validation of approaches, and detailed estimates and proposals.
- Ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and alignment with client and business objectives.
- Mentoring and developing technical team members, strengthening capability and technical standards across the team.
- Driving the adoption of emerging spatial technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance service offerings.
- Promoting safe and environmentally sustainable work practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the GIS domain.
- Proven success delivering complex GIS projects, including ArcGIS implementations.
- Strong stakeholder and client relationship skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge across the ArcGIS technology stack.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of emerging GIS and digital solutions technologies.
- Experience integrating AI into geospatial workflows and solutions.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment police background check as a condition of employment.
- Requires individuals with Full Working Rights in Australia.
