About the Role

BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities management services across a nationally recognised technology and communications portfolio based in Macquarie Park. You will work collaboratively with client stakeholders, contractors, landlords and BGIS colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality facilities services while supporting positive commercial and operational outcomes. This role suits someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, communicating with confidence, and balancing commercial outcomes with outstanding service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of contract services to meet agreed performance measures and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with client stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance activities across a diverse property portfolio.
  • Coordinate subcontractor engagement, performance and compliance activities.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and regular operational reports.
  • Assist with maintenance planning through CMMS platforms and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate capital works, contract variations and additional service requests.
  • Foster a positive culture of safety, quality and environmental responsibility.
  • Undertake regular site visits, annual inspections and portfolio reviews.
  • Participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing Facilities Management services within corporate, government, Defence, retail, or complex commercial portfolios.
  • Strong contract and stakeholder management experience.
  • Financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and maintenance service delivery.
  • Knowledge of CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organisational levels.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Understanding of WHSE legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
