About the Role

The Human Resources Coordinator leads the pre-hire and onboarding process, serving as a primary point of contact for candidates and employees. This role provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, ensuring compliance, accurate data management, and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with and support new hires through the pre-employment process.
  • Initiate and manage background checks and pre-placement health screenings.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) including course assignments and tracking.
  • Plan and improve New Employee Orientation (NEO) for regional offices.
  • Streamline onboarding processes with cross-functional partners.
  • Manage HRIS onboarding tasks including E-Verify, I-9 processing, and compliance.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data in HR systems.
  • Maintain confidential employee personnel records and support audits.
  • Process new hire transactions and employee status changes.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries with a customer service focus.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on organizational mission, branding, and compensation.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and candidate information.
  • Develop quality control measures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate on the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, administration, or customer service.
  • Experience handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel to different locations within the Bay Area as needed.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret complex written materials and verbal instructions.
