About the Role
The Advanced Packaging and Technology Manufacturing Group is seeking a team player to redefine software automation and engineering tools through the end-to-end infusion of AI/ML technologies. This role focuses on building intelligent, scalable, and efficient solutions to accelerate engineering workflows and support innovation in semiconductor development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software tools and automation solutions for engineering workflows.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to improve tool capability, automation, decision support, and workflow efficiency.
- Build and integrate intelligent features such as data-driven automation, predictive capabilities, and workflow optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to the architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of AI/ML-enabled software tools.
- Develop robust, maintainable, and production-quality code.
- Evaluate new AI/ML technologies and frameworks to drive innovation.
- Support experimentation, prototyping, and iterative refinement of solutions.
- Ensure software reliability, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-functional problem-solving.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in AI/ML, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 6 months of experience in software development, including building engineering applications, automation tools, or enterprise software.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies in software systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with software design, development, testing, and debugging in a collaborative environment.
Skills
- AI/ML model training, evaluation, and inference
- Generative AI and LLM-based solutions (prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, RAG)
- Frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
- System design and distributed computing
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud platforms and serverless architectures
- REST/gRPC APIs
- MLOps/LLMOps practices
