About the Role
We are seeking a Service Technician I for a 252-unit apartment community in North Austin. This role involves turning vacant units into move-in ready apartments and maintaining property grounds and common areas. Join a team that values teamwork and offers advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
- Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
- Walking the property grounds and common areas, picking up trash and debris.
- Performing any additional duties assigned by the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience in an apartment community.
- Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
- Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Application process includes criminal background checks and drug screens.
Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
