About the Role

San Francisco State University’s College of Ethnic Studies invites applications for part-time temporary lecturer faculty positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities

• Teach courses within the College of Ethnic Studies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Ethnic Studies or a related field.
• Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies or a related field (Preferred).
• Record of positive student evaluations of teaching (Preferred).

• All work is expected to be performed in the state of California.

• Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,221 – $13,224 per month
• Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,825 – $14,523 per month
• Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $8,593 – $15,211 per month
