About the Role

The Social Media Manager will create and deliver engaging content across digital channels, supporting properties' offerings and enhancing the brand's digital presence. This role involves content creation, community management, social media strategy, and scheduling, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of corporate and properties’ digital channels, creating inspirational, informative, and engaging photo and video content.
  • Plan, produce and create digital content to be used across all digital channels, increasing audience engagement.
  • Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, industry insights, and platform updates.
  • Create graphics and edit photos, collaborating with the internal marketing team when necessary.
  • Create awareness and interest within audiences, driving traffic to engage with digital content.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital channels/activities using tools like Later social posting app, feeding back to stakeholders, and using data to inform future activities.
  • Prioritize and schedule work effectively, anticipating problems and adjusting the allocation of resources and time accordingly.
  • Contribute to and work with relevant teams and stakeholders to develop, manage, and implement the digital side of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Attend events, committee meetings, and functions as and when appropriate.
  • Ensure visual and written brand integrity of content for each account.
  • Plan and schedule posts.
  • Create engaging caption copy for each individual property.
  • Community management for each social channel, responding to inquiries, engaging with comments and other accounts.
  • Attend marketing meetings to plan and support assets for upcoming initiatives.
  • Create and manage relationships with various team members at both corporate and property levels.
  • Organize and manage digital assets (photography, 3D tours, and video).
  • Train and share social media best practices with internal teams when applicable.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Experience in creating social media strategies and reporting
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to craft engaging content
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Passion for hospitality and real estate industry
  • Self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong design eye and skill
  • Community management, digital photography and video editing experience is required
