About the Role

TRUEWERK is seeking an experienced Marketing Director in Denver, Colorado to lead brand strategy and execution across direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and enterprise channels. This role involves owning integrated marketing to build trust and drive demand, ensuring all brand communications reflect a deep understanding of the customer and their work.

Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning, messaging, and portfolio-level strategy to clearly differentiate TRUEWERK in the market.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to bring products to life through compelling storytelling that drives both conversion and brand equity.
  • Partner with CMO, Creative, and cross-functional Team members to evolve the TRUEWERK brand and ensure consistent expression across touchpoints.
  • Apply customer, market, and competitive insights to continuously refine positioning and inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Lead GTM planning across product launches and campaigns, including strategy, calendar, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive integrated campaigns from concept through launch across channels, ensuring cohesive execution and measurable impact.
  • Guide paid, earned, and experiential efforts to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and alignment to GTM objectives.
  • Partner with Sales to drive growth across enterprise (B2B) and wholesale channels through tailored strategies and enablement.
  • Develop channel- and account-specific approaches that support sell-through, partner engagement, and brand presence.
  • Lead brand activation and marketing efforts that build awareness and credibility with trade professionals.

Requirements

  • Senior-level marketing background with a consumer brand that has scaled significantly (e.g., 2–3x growth).
  • Hands-on exposure to a seasonal omnichannel business, ideally in the Apparel/Footwear or Outdoor/Recreation industries.
  • Proven track record leading integrated marketing within an omnichannel business, including direct-to-consumer and wholesale/retail.
  • Background in developing and evolving brand strategy across channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Strong foundation in consumer insights and voice-of-the-customer inputs to inform brand and marketing decisions.
  • Hands-on involvement in building or actively participating in go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for a consumer brand.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with commercial teams, including Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Retail.
  • Prior responsibility for leading or managing marketing Team members.
  • Ownership of, or leadership responsibility for, one or more marketing channels (e.g., social media, PR, ecommerce, paid media, influencer, experiential).
  • History of working with diverse teams, functions, or geographies.
  • Familiarity with, or meaningful connection to, trade professionals or workwear-adjacent audiences.

  • $155,000 - $175,000 base salary + bonus
