About the Role
Unified Business Technologies is a full-service general contractor for construction projects in our National Parks. We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and manage the construction project from inception to completion. This project will Stabilize and Rehabilitate Alcatraz Island Historic Structures.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including Engineering Technicians and Contractors, to ensure timely submission and review of project schedules.
- Conduct detailed analysis of contractor schedules, comparing completion dates to project milestones and identifying potential delays.
- Review and evaluate construction contracts, proposing reasonable construction durations.
- Oversee project progress, ensuring contract compliance and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Provide analysis schedules, critical path method, and software usage to project team members.
Requirements
- 3 years of computer skills.
- 3-5 years of concrete repair on historical structures (Preferred).
- 10 years of construction management.
- 3 years of cost estimating.
- 3 years of seismic stabilization.
- 3 years of historic preservation.
