About the Role
The Software Engineer supports Fuel and Tax operations by developing and maintaining critical applications. This role involves designing, testing, and implementing integrated solutions across cloud and COTS platforms, building data pipelines, and resolving production issues to ensure reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Apply software development and testing skills to solve complex problems
- Collaborate with team members to elevate technology and apply best practices
- Communicate project statuses and proposals to customers and cross-functional departments
- Document system and application aspects for future maintenance
- Assess user needs and create software to meet requirements
- Identify and resolve design, testing, and maintenance issues
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
- Design system specifications and standards
- Mentor junior team members
- Continuously expand technical capabilities through professional development
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
- No current or future work authorization sponsorship available
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to travel for trainings, meetings, and conferences
- Must comply with company attendance standards
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per company guidelines
