About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our Growth team, focusing on customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. This role is central to our self-serve, product-led growth strategy, requiring a designer who values ownership, initiative, and the ability to translate complex problems into intuitive user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Embed with the Growth team to define the roadmap, vision, and lead design work.
- Own design work for funnel optimization, NUX, and personalization for guided flows.
- Leverage AI to create personalized customer experiences.
- Design growth systems, experiments, and new product features based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Champion designs that deliver a seamless experience for SMB users.
- Facilitate workshops to develop winning ideas.
- Distill complex information into simple, high-fidelity user experiences.
- Build strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams to ship business-driven products.
- Participate in and conduct UX research to represent the voice of the customer.
- Manage stakeholder feedback, challenge assumptions, and share design best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional design experience.
- 4+ years of experience on Growth teams or in ecommerce and merchandising.
- Proven track record of driving gains in conversion, basket price, and product adoption.
- Experience with onboarding and merchandising surfaces.
- Proficiency in iterative experimentation and A/B testing.
- Ability to conduct UX research and testing independently.
- Experience balancing craft, critical thinking, and business needs.
- Ability to align projects with high-level team goals.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to leadership.
- Deep understanding of contemporary design patterns.
- Ability to work from the office 3+ days a week in a hub location.

- $210,000—$247,000 USD (San Francisco, CA)
