About the Role
The Procurement Specialist manages Indirect Purchases for L’Occitane Group’s North America brands (L’Occitane En Provence, Erborian, Elemis), overseeing a spend of over USD 100M and approximately 1,000 suppliers. This role focuses on negotiation, process and tool implementation, supplier management with an emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, aligning with the Group's values.
Responsibilities
- Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes in partnership with internal departments.
- Execute strategic sourcing projects as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis with the Finance team to ensure negotiation outcomes meet business expectations.
- Review and manage contracts with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout their lifecycles.
- Propose and implement new or improved processes based on daily activities.
- Foster win-win deals and strengthen relationships with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the global Procurement community for information exchange and benchmarking.
- Identify and propose new suppliers, services, and materials to drive innovation.
- Engage suppliers on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability programs, integrating these criteria into all procurement decisions.
- Report monthly and quarterly results and KPIs to leadership and Finance teams.
- Perform other assigned duties and projects.
Requirements
- BA in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of procurement experience with increasing responsibilities in consumer goods and/or retail industries.
- Experience in Indirect Procurement, preferably in Marketing and Merchandising categories within the USA market.
- Proficiency in negotiation, strategic sourcing, and RFx processes.
- Experience in contract and supplier management.
- Experience within the Beauty Industry and/or Retail is preferred.
- Supplier management experience with a focus on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability is preferred.
- Project management and processes review/creation experience is preferred.
- Background in a multi-country and/or multi-brand organization is preferred.
- Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority.
- Skill in building consensus and collaborating across different functions.
- Hands-on mentality with autonomy and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organization skills to manage KPIs, contracts, and multiple projects/categories.
