About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit) who will provide mental health and substance abuse services to clients to enhance their recovery. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular patient outreach
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Requirements
- LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP or MSW-LP (Required)
- 1+ years experience in OMH/OASAS environment (Required)
- Russian Speaking (Required)
- Familiarity with both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment (Strongly Preferred)
- EHR documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
