About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist I to join the Oncology Research team. The successful candidate will have hands on experience leading research programs and will be technically skilled in developing and executing complex cell-based assays to characterize novel biologics. The candidate will have the opportunity to lead programs from early discovery to IND-enabling studies, working collaboratively across departments. In this role, the individual will design and conduct high quality experiments independently. S/he will be the scientific team leader responsible for data analysis, thorough documentation of work, and clear communication of results.

Responsibilities

Lead research programs and work collaboratively with line functions to define strategic direction and execute on programs
Design, implement, analyze, and report high-quality immunology and cell-based assays.
Keep detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of all experimental procedures and results.
Present data at project team meetings and internal reviews with key stakeholders

Requirements

PhD in Immunology, Cell biology or related field
4-6 years of industry experience (may include post doc)
Proven expertise with laboratory techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry, cytokine analysis, and cytotoxicity assays is required.
Demonstrated track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement in oncology or immunology
Ability to work independently and to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with colleagues from diverse disciplines is essential.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
A presentation of a scientific seminar is required during the interview process
