About the Role
Gavin de Becker & Associates (GDBA) protects influential and at-risk public figures by assessing, predicting, and managing violence. As a Protector, you will monitor properties, screen visitors, coordinate security, provide physical protection and logistical support, and ensure client safety during travel.
Responsibilities
- Monitor property utilizing GDBA Command Center tools and technology
- Screen visitors and vendors, controlling access to protected sites
- Coordinate and execute security plans
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients' homes and during travel
- Provide secure transportation as needed
- Survey and prepare locations prior to client arrival
- Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity
- Create and maintain readiness to meet any threat
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a physical readiness test (Pull-ups, Push-ups, Sit-ups, 800m run)
- Must be able to swim
- Must be drug and nicotine free
- Background check required
- Must be able to obtain appropriate state firearm and security licensing

Salary/Compensations
- $90,000 - $110,000 base earnings in the first year
