About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to ensure the effectiveness of training programs, materials, and delivery methods, while working closely with teams to uphold operating standards and support professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments of operating standards across teams and individuals to ensure they meet quality standards and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify areas for improvement in training content, delivery, and operating standards.
  • Monitor and analyse training metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes for training programs and operating standards.
  • Assist with staff professional development and course completion in conjunction with Team Leads.
  • Interact with cross-functional stakeholders to understand training requirements for future business needs, such as the growth of commercial operations.

Requirements

  • Full clean JP driving licence.
  • At least 8 years' driving experience, mainly in Japan.
  • No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years.
  • Ability to remain calm and controlled in a pressured environment.
  • Ability to take on board feedback and learn from mistakes, employing a growth mindset.
  • Enjoyment of working with people and thriving in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage wellbeing, including fatigue and stress, with personal, proven strategies.
  • Proven experience as a team coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in a 1:1 capacity, downwards to your team, and upwards and laterally with other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Availability to work full-time on-site based out of the Tokyo office, 5 days a week.
  • Disclosure of any second job as part of the application process.
  • Successful completion of a health check before/after employment.
  • Employment contingent upon passing training, pre-employment checks, and ongoing drug/alcohol testing.
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing during the onsite interview.
