About the Role
Reddit is seeking an experienced seller for the Retail vertical of its Large Customer Sales team in Canada. The Senior Client Partner will be responsible for building relationships with key brands and agencies, ensuring they achieve their business objectives using Reddit's advertising solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing advertising partners, agencies, and clients to drive revenue growth.
- Construct upfront and joint business plans with top clients.
- Establish relationships with new clients and educate them on Reddit and its advertising platform.
- Identify new buyers of Reddit advertising products through agency and client direct relationships.
- Utilize data from internal and external sources to inform client strategies and pitch proposals.
- Meet project deadlines and ensure clients receive high-level customer service.
- Act as an internal lead by participating in team meetings and Reddit special projects.
- Own client meetings from agenda to presentation, managing expectations and setting clear next steps.
- Serve as the primary client contact for platform updates, releases, changes, and opportunities.
- Provide strategic, proactive, and consultative advice to clients to grow relationships.
- Uncover client needs and align their goals with platform opportunities using product knowledge.
- Collaborate with Account Management and Ad Operations to meet client marketing goals.
- Shape Reddit's ads product roadmap by sharing client feedback and campaign metrics with stakeholders.
- Provide thought leadership and act as a Reddit evangelist at industry events.
- Share industry, client, and product expertise by mentoring and training team members.
- Collaborate with Client Partners and Account Managers for cohesive strategies on shared accounts.
- Build and leverage internal relationships to deliver on client and business goals.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in digital media, with 3-7 years in sales.
- Experience managing partnerships with complex enterprise Retail organizations.
- Proven experience managing relationships with C-level executives.
- Deep ads industry expertise within relevant verticals, product types, and/or measurement solutions.
- Deep existing relationships within the agency and client direct space.
- Subject matter expertise in the social media landscape and native advertising.
- Experience building and executing long-term account growth strategies.
- Demonstrated top-performer achievement against sales targets.
- Ability to lead special projects.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
