About the Role

The Supply Chain Planner will support end-to-end supply chain processes and system execution across planning, purchasing, and vendor integration. This role is integral in ensuring customers receive the best possible delivery experience by enabling better customer experience while remaining cost-efficient through supply chain objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine demand forecasts using historical data and advanced forecasting methods
  • Translate forecasts into replenishment plans including safety stock, lead times, and ordering parameters
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to adjust forecasts
  • Incorporate promotional activities and product launches into demand forecasts
  • Support vendor onboarding, data validation, and system setup across platforms
  • Place and manage purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers on lead times and delivery schedules
  • Own the full purchase order lifecycle including transmission (EDI/API/manual), confirmations, and status updates
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to PO, receipt, and invoice matching
  • Ensure accuracy of supply chain data and transactions across systems (Fulfil, ERP, integrations)
  • Monitor inbound shipments and resolve supply or delivery issues impacting availability
  • Oversee inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess stock, implementing optimization strategies
  • Work closely with Operations team to manage space requirements
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align forecasts with business goals
  • Prepare and analyze reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and demand trends
  • Identify and implement process improvements for forecasting and inventory management
  • Resolve issues daily through ad-hoc analysis, communication, and quick action
  • Assist with documenting processes
  • Regularly update and monitor operations metrics

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in an operations or supply chain environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create basic macros
  • Previous experience with integrated ERP systems and EDI setup
  • Experience working with integrated eCommerce platforms like Shopify
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate forecasting considering numerous data inputs and variables
  • Extremely analytical mindset with an investigative approach to situations
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and change in a dynamic work environment
  • Passion for problem-solving, investigating issues, and finding quick and realistic solutions
  • Curious, high-energy, and a person of integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and expanding project scope as the business rapidly scales and evolves
