About the Role

In this role, you will develop the buildings of the future with your team – networked, modern, and sustainable. You will work closely with customers, bring people and ideas together, and actively shape innovative solutions. You will take on responsibility, provide direction, and develop your team systematically – with real creative freedom and a work-life balance that suits you.

Responsibilities

  • Take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of project managers and system technicians in the field of building automation and actively shape the further development of modern, networked buildings.
  • Ensure efficient and successful project execution as a project manager – from initial planning through realization to commissioning and beyond.
  • Continuously monitor order and project progress, identify additional services early on, and report them in a structured manner.
  • Plan and coordinate the deployment of your team and external partners, ensuring smooth execution of even complex and demanding projects.
  • Act as the central technical point of contact, working closely with customers, internal departments, project management, and external service providers, coordinating communication among all parties.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is complete and accurate, internal processes are followed, and the highest quality standards are implemented across all project phases.
  • Coach and systematically develop your employees, supporting them in reaching their full potential.
  • Maintain an overview even in challenging situations, manage escalations confidently, and provide support for complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • Possess a completed electrical engineering apprenticeship or a comparable degree (e.g., electrical engineering, building automation, or automation technology) or a comparable qualification.
  • Be a certified project manager with sound experience in executing building automation projects.
  • Have experience in team leadership or the professional management of employees and take on responsibility.
  • Possess practical experience in project coordination and management in a technical or building services environment.
  • Demonstrate confident demeanor, assertiveness, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Have very good German and good English language skills and communicate confidently in various contexts.
  • Be willing to attend customer appointments and possess a Class B driver's license.
