About the Role

Lead Program Planner supporting a large, long-term program. Duties include managing the development and maintenance of complex program schedules, including resource loading, cost/schedule integration, and schedule analysis. This position also supports programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all programs. Qualified candidates will interface with all elements of the program team to develop and support regular maintenance of the program integrated master schedule. The position will require occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.
• Perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.
• Ensure major projects and program schedules are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
• Perform Schedule Risk Analysis, integrate Subcontractor effort, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
• Utilize Gantt, milestone charts, Critical and Driving paths, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
• Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
• Lead and participate in scheduling status reviews.
• Coordinate with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) members in the development, maintenance, and analysis of work package schedules.
• Provide insights into program scheduling trends and best practices to assist program teams with formulating achievable program schedules.
• Manage Risk and Opportunity in the IMS.
• Perform end-to-end ownership of maintenance and coordination of schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
• Identify and recommend insightful mitigation plans to ensure the IMS is used as a predictive model and remains a valued management tool for the program.
• Simultaneously support multiple schedules of varying complexity.
• Develop process improvements to achieve program goals.
• Mentor program teams and CAMs in schedule best practices and Earned Value methodologies.
• Travel to various subcontractor/supplier sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 9 years planning experience or 7 years minimum related experience with graduate degree.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Demonstrated Experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, and CDRL deliveries.
• Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g. DCMA 14-point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis – such as CEI, BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Familiarity with DOD contracts and requirements
• Able to work within tight deadlines and multi-task various projects in an organized manner

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Word and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with external EVMS reporting and related requirements
• Experience with MS Project to Cobra cost/schedule integration
• Experience with FullMonte SRA, SSI Tool, and OnePager Pro

Salary/Compensations

• $100,500.00-$186,500.00 (California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas)
• $87,500.00-$162,500.00 (Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont)
