About the Role
Jerry.ai is seeking Data Science & Analytics team members to drive impact in areas such as Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, and Strategic Partnerships. This role involves embedding within a core business unit to own the analytical function end-to-end, defining problems, surfacing insights, and driving outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define the right problems by understanding business questions and informing decisions.
- Push back on flawed business questions.
- Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface data insights.
- Bring recommendations to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations.
- Communicate findings, explain reasons, and propose next steps.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently.
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact.
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level.
- First principles thinker who breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses.
- Comfortable with SQL or Python.
- Direct communicator who can walk skeptical stakeholders through complex findings and get buy-in quickly.
- Acts like an owner, feeling responsible for fixing issues even if outside their direct scope.
