About the Role
The Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining store standards, leading by example, and inspiring teams through passion for the brand. They act as a primary touchpoint for consumers, ensuring an exemplary store experience while driving sales and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to maximize customer service, sales, and profit.
- Support the management team in overseeing personnel, product, merchandising, and business processes.
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings.
- Communicate marketing and sales promotions to staff.
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and colleagues fairly.
- Support the delivery of business strategy and ensure consistent staff training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
- Achieve personal sales goals including sales versus budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction.
- Perform manager-on-duty functions, including store opening and closing.
- Focus staff on building quality relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure staff accountability for building a repeat customer base through high-quality service.
- Execute and review visual merchandising directives for the sales floor and back room.
- Collaborate with the management team to build a talent pool and identify successors.
Requirements
- Previous track record in supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- Previous people management experience with conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work as a team player who celebrates the contributions of others.
- Confidence in providing feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and work with pace.
- Energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor.
- Proactive 'can-do' approach to problem-solving.
