About the Role

The Part-Time Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for daily inventory tasks including counts, quality checks of incoming products, labeling, and organization. This role will also assist in verifying product counts and ensuring regulatory compliance for deliveries, ensuring products are accurately logged in METRC and ERP systems before being made available for sale.

Responsibilities

  • Labeling, tagging, organizing, counting, and quality checks for all new FGI received.
  • Conducting weekly cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.
  • Ensuring all products entering inventory undergo standard quality checks for quantity, label, and COA verification.
  • Counting, reconciling, and completing monthly inventory audits.
  • Escalating inventory and UID discrepancies to the Inventory Control Lead or Manager.
  • Researching inventory variances and adjustments.
  • Maintaining an accurate log of inventory for disposal with the Inventory Manager/Lead.
  • Maintaining a list of all quality hold/quarantined product.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Inventory experience in a retail or warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience is preferred.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance or 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
