About the Role
Fi is seeking a Senior Manager, Paid Research & Youtube to build and run campaigns, set strategy, and own performance against acquisition targets. This role is critical to the company's growth, directly impacting revenue through strategic decisions in performance marketing.
Responsibilities
- Own hands-on execution across the full Google Ads portfolio: Search (brand and non-brand), Performance Max, Demand Gen, Shopping, and YouTube.
- Build campaigns, manage bidding, pace budgets, and make scaling calls.
- Drive channel contribution to shared blended CAC targets while protecting volume.
- Partner with Finance on true unit economics.
- Own YouTube strategy across upper and lower funnel, including reach vs. Demand Gen mix, reallocation tests, and conversion lift studies.
- Manage Performance Max with appropriate asset groups, audience signals, and brand exclusions.
- Own the creative brief-to-asset pipeline for paid search and YouTube.
- Represent the channel in creative reviews and partner with Brand and Creative on video and asset production.
- Maintain measurement and signal quality end to end, including conversion tagging accuracy, enhanced conversions, consent handling, customer match, and existing-member exclusion lists.
- Manage brand safety and fraud controls including placement and content exclusions and suitability settings across YouTube and Display.
- Own paid-side requirements, QA, and troubleshooting for Shopping feeds.
- Build and maintain reporting in Northbeam and Databricks.
- Develop the weekly Google performance narrative reconciled against source-of-truth reporting.
- Manage platform partner relationships with Google reps, including beta access, budget, billing, and spend reconciliation.
- Run an incrementality and testing practice (lift studies, geo tests) to validate spend is driving net-new customers.
- Lead peak planning for product launches, BFCM, and holiday, including budget scenarios, creative readiness, and bidding strategy.
Requirements
- 6+ years in performance marketing with deep, hands-on ownership of Google Ads across Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and YouTube.
- Experience scaling spend efficiently against CAC, ROAS, or contribution-margin targets.
- Real experience running YouTube as both a reach and a performance channel, including conversion lift or brand lift study design and interpretation.
- Fluency with Google tag setup, enhanced conversions, customer match, and exclusion list management.
- Comfort pulling and interrogating your own numbers.
- Clear communication, including the ability to brief executives and write a crisp performance recap.
