About the Role

Join the Corporate Bank as a Data Scientist to drive innovation and deliver commercial value by leveraging Machine Learning and Generative AI. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to shape projects, prototype solutions using a design-led approach, and extract insights from extensive datasets to deliver tangible business impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and extract data from internal and external sources.
• Perform data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure quality.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for automated acquisition and processing.
• Design and conduct statistical and machine learning models to analyze patterns and trends.
• Implement predictive models to forecast outcomes and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify value-add opportunities through Data Science.
• Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and allocating resources.
• Manage risk and strengthen controls related to assigned work.
• Escalate policy or procedure breaches appropriately.
• Advise and influence decision-making within area of expertise.
• Communicate complex or sensitive information to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science or equivalent commercial experience.
• Experience delivering ideas from inception to production with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning techniques including clustering, classification, regression, and NLP.
• Proficient coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Ability to write modular, production-ready code following good development practices.
• Familiarity with AWS data science and AI services such as SageMaker and Bedrock.
• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG frameworks.
• Competence in data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of code management practices.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to learning.
