About the Role
As a SAP Business Network (SBN) Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering sound, high-quality SBN solution deployments on time and within budget. You will focus on the rapid transformation of client organizations into world-class managers of Supply Chain Management Solutions that create sustainable bottom-line results.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer problems and anticipate their needs.
- Apply knowledge of customer’s business across multiple domains and industry to assess findings, influence opinions and shape solutions.
- Lead customers and/or collaborate with partners across geographies through the lifecycle of SBN solution implementation (preparation, conception, realization and go-live).
- Lead functional scope definition and design, guide customers to adopt AI enabled leading practice for SBN solutions, in particular, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Logistics.
- Plan and manage project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews, conduct project assessments, support pre-sales activities.
- Manage customer and/or partner relationships and lead escalation management.
- Recognize the service needs associated with a client-focused business model.
- Make the client successful within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Refine existing or develop new intellectual property and methodology, frameworks and tools (e.g., questionnaires, presentations, implementation methodology, performance management) based on project experience, research, and analysis.
- Actively contribute to knowledge capital.
- Build solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at SAP and externally at the client).
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP Material Management (MM) and/or Transportation Management (TM) with 3+ full cycle implementations of either.
- 5+ years consulting experience with “Big 4” or comparable global SI in a team lead or manager role.
- Proven ability to influence executives and guide organizations through complex transformation.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in Quebec.
