About the Role
Our client is a growing leader in the occupational health and safety industry seeking an experienced Safety Trainer in the Scarborough / Greater Toronto Area to deliver impactful safety training programs that align with the mission to promote workplace well-being and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and instruct engaging safety training sessions tailored to client needs.
- Assess training effectiveness and continuously improve program content.
- Collaborate with clients to identify safety training requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and certifications.
- Stay updated on the latest occupational health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness within client organizations.
Requirements
- Must have prior training experience in the Construction industry.
- Proven experience in occupational health and safety training or related field.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to assess learner needs and adapt training methods accordingly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a personal vehicle to travel to training locations.
