About the Role
The Infrastructure Platform team owns the foundation for all engineering teams at Parloa, including cloud infrastructure, provisioning, orchestration, CI/CD, and AI agent runtime environments. The team's current initiative, Deployment Stamps, is re-platforming how Parloa delivers isolated, reliable, and compliant environments across various infrastructures. This role is highly technical, focusing on shaping architecture-adjacent product strategy for internal engineering teams and enterprise stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the Infrastructure Platform product strategy and roadmap, translating goals into an outcomes-driven plan.
- Serve as the voice of internal and enterprise customers, including Parloa engineering teams and enterprise security, compliance, and infrastructure leaders.
- Drive discovery and write PRDs that frame outcomes without over-prescribing implementation.
- Partner with engineering leads and architects to test feasibility and trade-offs.
- Make difficult prioritization calls, balancing near-term delivery with long-term architecture evolution.
- Define and track key platform metrics such as availability, SLA attainment, provisioning lead time, deployment frequency, change-failure rate, adoption, and developer satisfaction.
- Establish scalable, repeatable processes for region readiness, release management, and cross-team alignment.
- Align a broad set of technical stakeholders, including Engineering, Architecture, Security, Legal/Compliance, and customer-facing teams.
- Connect platform capabilities to revenue by articulating how infrastructure features unlock enterprise deals and expansion.
- Communicate clearly across both technical and business contexts.
Requirements
- 7+ years of combined engineering and product experience for Staff (L4); 10+ years with demonstrated product leadership for Principal (L5).
- Prior experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or senior/staff engineer is strongly preferred.
- Deep infrastructure fluency, including hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, networking, identity/auth, and observability.
- Ability to read architecture diagrams, follow design trade-offs, and engage with principal engineers.
- Understanding of building platform capabilities for reusability, operability, and long-term developer experience.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complexity, capable of bringing clarity and momentum to under-defined initiatives.
- Strong product fundamentals, including discovery, roadmapping, writing PRDs and narratives, defining success criteria, and managing a disciplined delivery process.
- Proven ability to lead and influence stakeholders without direct authority, aligning teams around technical direction and resolving trade-offs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various technical audiences.
- Ownership mindset and bias for action, taking responsibility for end-to-end outcomes.
- Direct experience with enterprise data residency, sovereignty, or compliance requirements is a plus.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid/on-premises delivery and orchestration at scale is a plus.
- Experience building internal developer platforms and applying Team Topologies/platform-as-a-product thinking is a plus.
- Background in B2B SaaS infrastructure, cloud, or developer-tools companies is a plus.
- Exposure to AI/ML platform or runtime infrastructure is a plus.
