About the Role

A bright individual keen to enhance their career in a practical Finance role which gives plenty of opportunity to develop a broad range of skills & attributes in an agile and inclusive working environment where collaboration and learning is an the heart of delivering great service across all areas of the business & beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly processing of AR workflow cycle, billing & cash collection
  • Daily management of Accounts Receivables mailbox
  • Monthly client statements
  • Client bill processing including internal billing approval and generation of client bills within agreed deadlines
  • Proactive credit control processes to ensure timely client receipts
  • Allocation of all cash receipts daily
  • Client bill query management
  • Unbilled review throughout the month, focusing specifically on diarised billing due date
  • Capture, upload and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders
  • Purchase Order matching, leading to purchase payments
  • Preparation of supplier payments & online bank file preparation
  • Supplier invoice & order query management
  • Effective cash payment best practice procedures within agreed deadlines
  • Credit card review, allocation & reconciliation
  • Support Finance & Agency teams with financial requests, training or order workflow matters

Requirements

  • Able to work to deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Analytical with ability to use initiative to help problem solve
  • Pro-active approach with can do attitude
  • A confident communicator both verbal and written
  • Understanding of big picture and how their role adds value to all aspects of the business
  • Approachable, willing to work as part of a team, and play active role within Agency
  • Diligent and able to follow guidelines & timetables
  • Good attention to detail and understanding for accuracy, controls & efficiency
  • Comfortable with new Tech, change, and progress
  • Reliable, and self-motivated

Skills

  • Previous experience within an AR role for at least 1 year
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting practices
  • Basic to Intermediate Excel skills
  • General tech savviness with systems

Experience Level

  • At least 1 year

Education Level

  • Degree or alternative Higher Education qualifications
