About the Role
Craft visually compelling, consistent, and user-friendly interfaces across Android and iOS products. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to bring polished, high-quality designs to life, simplifying navigation and in-car experiences for millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design clear, attractive, and user-friendly visual interfaces for mobile experiences.
- Implement and maintain a consistent visual language across products, ensuring design quality and coherence.
- Create UI components, mock-ups, layouts, high-fidelity screens, design documentation, specifications, and UI assets (icons, imagery, animations).
- Contribute to our design system, supporting the evolution of UI components and visual foundations.
- Work closely with UX designers to translate interaction flows into refined visual layouts.
- Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners.
- Present work, incorporate feedback, and participate in design reviews.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of UI assets.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications, demonstrated through a strong visual/UI portfolio.
- Proven experience designing for Android and iOS, using components, visual styles, and design tokens effectively.
- Strong visual design skills: typography, layout, color, spacing, hierarchy, and motion principles.
- Proficiency in UI and prototyping tools (Figma essential).
- Experience working with design systems and scalable UI libraries.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for polished, user-centered visual experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional product teams.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
- Passion for automotive or in-vehicle experiences; must have a driver’s license.
