About the Role

ViaNova is seeking a Director of Strategic Programs & Partnerships to oversee high-impact client engagements, lead cross-functional initiatives, and help organizations tackle complex challenges that create positive social change. This role is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in consulting, nonprofit leadership, client services, program management, strategy, operations, philanthropy, or organizational development who enjoy working directly with executives, stakeholders, and mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Client Engagements
  • Manage a portfolio of high-profile projects and initiatives
  • Serve as the primary advisor and relationship manager for key clients
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions
  • Conduct research, analysis, and recommendations to support client goals
  • Ensure projects are delivered successfully and exceed expectations
  • Build Partnerships & Drive Collaboration
  • Work closely with executives, funders, nonprofit leaders, and community partners
  • Align diverse stakeholders around shared priorities and goals
  • Navigate complex challenges and help teams move forward effectively
  • Foster productive relationships across multiple organizations and sectors
  • Support Organizational Growth
  • Participate in business development efforts and client acquisition
  • Assist with proposals, presentations, and new engagement opportunities
  • Represent ViaNova at conferences, networking events, and industry gatherings
  • Identify trends and opportunities that strengthen client services
  • Mentor & Develop Team Members
  • Coach and support junior staff and project teams
  • Promote collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning
  • Share best practices and strengthen team capabilities
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and organizational strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience in consulting, program management, nonprofit leadership, strategy, client services, operations, philanthropy, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success leading complex projects from planning through execution
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Consulting or professional services experience
  • Nonprofit, foundation, philanthropy, CSR, or social impact experience
  • Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or stakeholder meetings
  • Team leadership or people management experience
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or partners
