About the Role

As a VM Creative Producer, you will manage all coordination to deliver visually exciting windows and in-store theatre for customers. This involves collating ideas, alterations, and visuals from the Design Manager for seasonal setups and creative activities. You will produce window concept visuals for schemes and prop design, and create mockup visuals for flagship store window rollouts and lower tier iterations. You will also collaborate with third-party brands to design, produce, and execute branded windows across the estate through a robust supplier-funded process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the window calendar with support from the Senior Creative Manager and VM Lead.
  • Ensure connectivity with Customer Planning for departmental alignment.
  • Feed branded window opportunities to Creative Managers that align with proposed window schemes.
  • Collaborate with Buying and other relevant departments to update and design new branded window packages per the VM Strategy.
  • Support VM Designers with the design and execution of secondary and special window schemes.
  • Support VM Designers and store design with the recommission/decommission of windows post-store visits or Optimisation projects.
  • Maintain individual strategies and brand integrity for both JL and 3rd party brands.
  • Provide creative communication support with the Styling team regarding window execution and prop allocation.
  • Develop concepts into window schemes and props, including designing concepts, writing briefs for trials, allocations, and specifications.
  • Adapt schemes for all special window sizes.
  • Ensure supplier briefs are appropriate for bespoke projects or market-specific window designs.
  • Produce guidelines for windows, prop rollouts, and special campaigns with VM Designers and Stylists, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Ensure schemes are appropriate across both Brands and alter schemes/campaigns accordingly as part of the Head Office team.
  • Support VM Designer and Senior Creative Manager with supplier briefings, sample acquisition, and relationship development.
  • Brainstorm with VM Lead, Senior Creative Manager, and Head Office team for seasonal concepts and ad hoc creative projects.
  • Demonstrate innovative ideas that support business growth.
  • Regularly spend time in shops, the office, or with suppliers as required.
  • Proactively drive own development.

Requirements

  • Previous retail/display background.
  • Flexible and enjoy working in a high pace, fast-moving, and changing environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to stay positive under pressure and remain focused on goals.
  • 3D/4D/Sketch up design package literate.
  • Pre-employment vetting may be required (including DBS checks for successful candidates).
  • Financial probity checks may be required for some roles.

Work Type

  • Hybrid working approach (mixture between office and home)
  • Typically aim for around three days a week in the office or visiting shops
  • Core office days are Monday and Tuesday
  • Full-time (35 hours)

Experience Level

  • Partnership Level 8

Salary/Compensations

  • £36,000.00 - £56,900.00 Annual
  • Expected salary up to - £48,000 depending on experience
