About the Role
The Corporate Development team reports directly to the CEO and CFO, partnering with business line heads. This intern will contribute to firm-wide strategic and operational efficiencies, execute global acquisitions, and analyze corporate initiatives for executives.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Corporate Development team on acquisition-related activities and special projects.
- Support origination efforts, including developing acquisition target searches and profiles.
- Conduct preliminary evaluations of industry participants for pipeline categorization and prioritization.
- Track pipeline activities and maintain the team's CRM database using Salesforce and Pitchbook.
- Aid in post-acquisition performance tracking by analyzing precedent transactions and creating reports.
- Develop and manage databases, processes, templates, and reports to enhance efficiency for acquisitions and strategic projects.
Requirements
- Must be a junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Previous professional internship experience is preferred.
- A desire to pursue a career in investment banking or finance is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling and analysis used in acquisition work.
- General knowledge of relevant accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient skills with Excel.
- Understanding of PowerPoint and Word.
