About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced GenAI, RAG, and NLP solutions. You will manage the full project lifecycle, from design and implementation to production, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data science pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data, develop models, and define quality metrics.
  • Present model performance and insights to stakeholders regularly.
  • Create production-ready Python packages for data science pipelines.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams for model deployment.
  • Optimize and customize RAG pipelines for content ingestion and contextual retrieval.
  • Ingest, preprocess, and transform large-scale multilingual data.
  • Build AI agentic models integrated with RAG pipelines.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of AI models for performance and reliability.
  • Perform end-to-end quality assessments of integrated data science components.
  • Maintain pipeline robustness against model drift.
  • Establish reporting processes and automated re-training strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products.
  • Lead and manage projects with a team of data scientists.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and foster a knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and NLP.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of applied experience in data science with a focus on Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, model development, and deployment.
  • Strong experience with transformer models.
  • Proficiency in Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, evaluation tools, and prompt engineering.
  • Knowledge of RAG pipeline implementation.
  • Experience building Agentic RAG systems.
  • Experience with AI agent management frameworks like LangChain.
  • Experience with advanced deep learning, neural networks, reinforcement learning, and transfer learning.
  • Familiarity with traditional machine learning algorithms such as random forests, SVM, logistic regression, and Bayesian modelling.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Bedrock, AWS, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems like GitLab or GitHub.
  • Experience with Jira and working in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in using OpenSearch and Databricks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and team-oriented collaboration skills.
