About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy for cross-border bank payments, transforming complexity into efficient payment infrastructure. You will define what bank payments look like at Agicap internationally and negotiate commercial terms with banks.
Responsibilities
- Develop new products and features by analyzing data, conducting user interviews, studying the competition, and leveraging input from cross-functional teams.
- Become the bank payments expert within Agicap.
- Collaborate with Tech, Design, Sales, Support, and Data teams to translate insights into opportunities, hypotheses, tests, and features.
- Set quarterly business and product objectives for your squad in collaboration with leadership.
- Build your squad's product roadmap based on Agicap's strategic objectives.
- Own the quality and delivery timelines of features shipped by your squad.
- Build strong relationships with Tech and Design to deliver innovative features on tight timelines.
- Continuously measure and track the impact of features developed by your squad.
Requirements
- Product or pre-sales experience with corporate-to-bank channels: EBICS, SWIFT (corporate side: FileAct, gpi), H2H, corporate banking APIs.
- Familiarity with payment and reporting formats: ISO 20022 (pain / camt), CFONB.
- Understanding of VOP challenges and the ISO 20022 migration.
- Ability to engage with treasurers/CFOs and Cash Management teams.
- Knowledge of local specifics (CBI in Italy, FedNow/Fedwire/ACH in the US, DACH region) is a plus.
- Exposure to cash management platforms or TMS (Kyriba, Sage XRT, Trovata, Datalog…) is a plus.
- Experience launching products that delivered meaningful business results and user value is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a curious and methodical approach.
- Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders, carry a vision, and articulate user value and business impact.
- Experience working directly with developers and designers.
- Comfortable listening to and communicating with external stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership.
- Fluent in English; French, German, or Italian is a plus.
