About the Role
The Marketing & Business Development Manager supports the fragrance sales organization by driving market intelligence, customer-focused marketing initiatives, and new business opportunities. This role acts as a strategic partner to sales, translating market trends and customer insights into actionable commercial strategies, while supporting consumer products and fine fragrance marketing needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide consumer products category insights and market intelligence including trend analysis and competitive landscape sharing
- Support outbound activities by preparing customer-specific materials, value propositions, and commercial support tools
- Proactively share relevant market and consumer insights with sales teams to support customer engagement
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fragrance business
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives and customer projects
- Contribute to market analysis and business planning to support sustainable growth
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or commercial support within B2B or consumer products industries
- Strong understanding of market analysis, consumer trends, and commercial strategy support
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and high-quality graphic design
- Ability to prepare clear and structured commercial materials
- Legally eligible to work in Korea
