About the Role

We are looking for a frontend developer to work on our insurance platform, an end-to-end system that takes an insurance risk from submission to pricing, to policy issuance and beyond. You will be part of a small but growing team, so there will be plenty of opportunity to make a big impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, interactive, and performant web applications.
• Design & implement user interfaces that are visually appealing and intuitive.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability and user experience.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of front-end systems hosted on Azure.
• Collaborate with the team on best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Experience with Vue.js (both v2 and v3) and surrounding ecosystem (e.g. Vuetify, Vuex, Pinia, Vue Router)
• Experience with jQuery
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is advantageous.
